Northwest Christian Counseling, LLC

Dealing with life's challenges in positive, healthy, and God-honoring ways

Statement of Faith

All people are welcome at Northwest Christian Counseling (NWCC), regardless of faith or religious beliefs. Counselors at NWCC will respect the beliefs of others and will not attempt to force their faith or personal beliefs on clients.  However, we also want to make sure you (the client) understand the faith and beliefs of our NWCC counselors.

NWCC relies firmly upon the Bible as our authority on Christian beliefs and as a guide to living. We believe that the Bible is the divinely-inspired Word of God, without error, given to us so that we may know and understand the truth of God and His love. We believe that the Bible, then, is the ultimate source of wisdom and truth.

We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three distinct personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, each possessing all the attributes of God. We believe that God created us to be in a relationship with Him, but we have been separated from Him through sin. As a result, we need God's saving grace to restore our broken relationship with God.

We believe that Jesus Christ is that means of reconciliation. Jesus is our Savior, the Son of God who lived a sinless life, died on a cross for our sins, and was raised from the grave. We believe that Jesus came to restore our relationship with God, and salvation comes only through faith in Him.

Christian Counseling

All counselors at Northwest Christian Counseling are practicing Christians who believe in the above statements of faith. Our counselors are active in their local churches and pursue spiritual growth and discipline in their own lives.

As noted above, all clients will be welcomed at Northwest Christian Counseling (NWCC), regardless of religious beliefs. Counselors at NWCC will respect the beliefs of others and will not attempt to force their faith or personal beliefs on clients.  Clients can choose whether they want spiritual- or Christian-based counseling, as indicated in the Informed Consent paperwork.
